1. Services
Complyr ("Complyr") provides BIS certification consultancy services. We are an independent consultancy and are not affiliated with the Bureau of Indian Standards or any government body.
2. No guarantee of certification outcome
BIS certification decisions are made solely by the Bureau of Indian Standards. We do not guarantee that applications will be approved or that licences will be granted. Our obligation is to prepare and submit accurate, complete applications on your behalf.
3. Client obligations
Clients must provide accurate product information, genuine test samples, and access to manufacturing facilities as required. Providing false information to BIS is a criminal offence under the BIS Act 2016.
4. Fees
Our consultancy fees are fixed and agreed in writing before engagement. Government fees (BIS application fees, lab charges) are separate and billed at cost. Refunds are subject to the terms of the engagement agreement.
5. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the consultancy fee paid. We are not liable for consequential losses, import/export delays, regulatory penalties, or market access restrictions.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
